Biography
Dr. Gillis is a licensed psychologist who has 12 years of health care experience in the academic and clinical hospital settings. She has completed a three-year fellowship in Sleep Medicine and also worked as a hospital-based Consultation Liaison Psychologist. She has published 5 articles in academic, peer-reviewed journals including the Annals of Behavioral Medicine and Pain Medicine.
Trained as a health psychologist and clinician, Dr. Gillis left an academic research and clinical pain management career to pursue management consulting. For three years she worked with RHR International, a 61-year old, Chicago-based consulting company helping Fortune 500 companies identify, evaluate and grow leaders. While at RHR International, she provided Executive Assessment and Coaching services to leaders at Merck & Company, Steelcase, Best Buy, Johnson Controls, Dow Corning, Joy Global Mining and Machinery and others.
