The Spine Center

About Us

Our Mission: Providing excellence in the care and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal disorders.

The Spine Center, Lansing Neurosurgery's sister facility, is an "all in one" option for pain treatment. Board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians collaborate with physical therapists and massage and acupuncture providers to offer rehabilitation, sports medicine, physical therapy, pain management, spinal injections, massage and acupuncture.

The Spine Center features 10,000 square feet of physical therapy space, a large heated pool for aquatic therapy and an on-site pain treatment facility where our physicians perform injections to alleviate pain and conduct EMG tests to diagnose nerve injuries and disorders.

The physical therapy experience is one-on-one and personalized to your goals. Appointments are offered from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and throughout the lunch hour. When your course of physical therapy treatment is completed, The Spine Center offers a transition program to allow you to continue the physical regimen recommended by your therapist.

Massage therapy and acupuncture are available from our licensed acupuncturist and massage therapists either by themselves, or as a complement to a physician's diagnosis.

For pregnant women suffering from pain, The Spine Center offers the only comprehensive and individualized treatment program in the area, combining aquatic and land-based therapy under the supervision of Dr. Christina Richardson, DO.

Because the mind-body connection is so important to your overall health, The Spine Center has recently introduced pain psychology services provided by a clinical team of a Board-certified psychologist and licensed social worker.
